Amazonat is located in a private reserve 160km (100 miles) east of Manaus. We are surrounded by a huge diversity of unspoiled ecosystems and abundant wildlife and are the only ecolodge in the area that can easily take visitors to three nearby rivers (Amazon, Urubú and Preto da Eva River) and offer terra firme, primary and secondary forests at your doorstep.

Amazonat offers accommodations in various locations (rainforest and riverside) so guests can experience different aspects of this beautiful region. Visitors can stay at one or more of our locations and choose a package to suit their interests and length of stay. We are flexible and can do customized packages.

Small Groups

At Amazonat, excursions are always done in small groups (4-6 persons on avg. and 8 max.). This way we ensure personal attention and the ability to tailor activities to the interests and abilities of the group. Interested in an active, adventurous stay? No problem. You want to focus on nature observation and soak it all in at a slower pace? This can also be arranged. Just let us know.

Expert Guides

To share our passion for the Amazon, excursions are led by local guides who have a thorough knowledge of the surrounding flora, fauna and native cultures. Amazonat is also a preferred location for research and scientific study. When present, researchers are happy to dedicate time to share their experience with our guests.

Ecotourism

Amazonat is committed to protecting and preserving the rainforest through sustainable practices and education, while supporting and involving the surrounding local communities. Amazonat was fully constructed with FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) label materials and follows environmentally friendly practices. We are involved in projects with local communities providing aid and support as well as giving employment and training.
